The Waiting is Over.....

On July 15th at 4:05 pm we finally met our precious little girl. Ashtyn Montgomery Potter was born weighing in at 6lbs 11oz and was 20 1/2 inches long, with a full head of dark hair!!! She is absolutely precious and we can't get enough of her!!!! Chance is adjusting to the pink and the bows and the ruffles and the look he has in his eyes when he looks at her is just amazing!!! Is he already wrapped around her little bitty finger....... well......... you might just have to ask Ashtyn!!! Rayden and Casen left from the hospital after seeing Ashtyn to Ruidoso with my mom so they haven't had a chance to see what life with a new baby sister is like! I am sure it will be a wonderful, chaotic mess when they get home. We are trying not to let Ashtyn get used to all the quiet because that is one thing it will NOT be when the boys get home!!!!

The boys had their big brother shirts, their big brother buttons, and they could hardly wait for for Sister to get here!

Casen fell asleep in the delivery room waiting....

And after what seemed like forever, she finally arrived!

And it was love at first sight.

Rayden was so anxious to give her the bear he had picked out for her

Casen came in the room and exclaimed "MY baby, I hold my baby"!!

She wore her camo for daddy....

And her hair is a little crazy.....

But mostly she is just PRECIOUS!!!!

She is jaundiced, so she is now spending most of her day in a light bed.

Do you know how hard it is not being able to hold the sweet baby all day????

And because she can only wear a diaper in the light bed, it has really put a damper on getting to dress her up!!! She has a whole closet full of clothes just calling her name!!!!

Prissy???? Probably so!!!!
